GOPENG ADVENTURE PACKAGES

Gopeng is located at N4.475765,E101.167906 for GPS coordinates. A former mining town with a rich history and now has become a popular adventure hub offering white water rafting, caving, trekking, off road 4WD, waterfalls etc   Getting here Ipoh to Gopeng approximately 30minutes. KL - Gopeng approximately 2 hours. Go north to Ipoh on PLUS highway. Look out for Gopeng exit 135 (after Tapah Exit). T-junction turn right to go Gopeng town. You will drive through 1 set of traffic lights and within few minutes you will be in Gopeng.Lookout for police station on right hand side at town area, turn right into road after the police station. At the end, there is a small row of commercial shops, park there and a guide will be waiting.   PACKAGE PRICE Package Rate :  RM 388.00 per person Package: White Water Rafting - Get up close and personal with nature, experience an exotic and mystifying rainforest where the fastest butterflies swarm by the riverbank while you enjoy swimming in the river or jump from trees or just zoom down the river on a raft. Notes: Outdoor Activities are subject to weather conditions and may be reorganised to best meet operational situations. Please bring sun block, t-shirt and shorts, towel, and change of clothes, sneakers or river sandals, waterproof camera, goggles for those who wear contact lenses, spectacle strap for the bespectacled, mosquito repellent, torchlight and comfortable walking shoes. Transportaticn be arranged from Kuala Lumpur to Gopeng. Please enquire for more information. The accommodation is basic, one can enjoy green scenery and tranquility which cannot be found anywhere in the hustle and bustle of the city. Expect the cool and refreshing breeze and the originality of the surroundings in this resort as it is designed to be environmentally friendly. The resort is equipped with basic amenities such as mattress, pillow, blankets (air-conditioning is not available). Other packages combination is also available.

Gopeng was a trip where many activities involved teamwork and by participating in those activities, I made lots of new friends and I also understood them better. Unlike artificial walls, natural walls offer many different methods of completing them. I didn't think I was a good climber beforehand, but completing three of these climbing walls really boosted my confidence! It was such an amazing experience because there were so many varieties of activities to do, caving, rope course, real mountain rock climbing, white water rafting, hiking, the campfire, the quest of the magic fire, and many more! I would have to say everything that we did was the highlight of my trip, I never got bored. Iwas really excited when we white water rafted because it was my first time! I have always wished to white water raft and Gopeng gave me that chance.
